ˇˇˇˇZhejiang Far East Industrial Park Col, Ltd is a joint
venture company founded by Mr. Lu of Pacific Developing Group and
other Taiwanese investors. The Far East Industrial Park is the largest
industrial park in Zhejiang solely invested by Taiwanese enterprises
with total investment over 0.2 billion U.S. dollars. The total land
area of the park development is 220-hectare and is planning for three
phases and the first 87-hectare has been completed since 1993. So
far, there are over fifty foreign companies from Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia
and Austria settled within the park. The second phase is under way.
The industrial park can settled more than 120 large companies and
factories and supply more than 50,000 job opportunity. In 1996, the
Far East Park was recognized by the Zhejiang government Department
of Planning as the ˇ°best planning industrial parkˇ± in Zhejiang.
